These and other difficulties are common. Often you can move forward with the help of friends and family. But sometimes it can be easier and more effective to seek the help of a counsellor or psychotherapist.
I provide a warm and friendly space where you can talk about and make sense of what is going on in your life. And I will actively explore with you ways of making changes in your life that will help you feel better and be more fulfilled.
I am trained to Diploma level in Transactional Analysis and also have training in Narrative Therapy. I have been working as a counsellor since 2005.
Short and long-term counselling / therapy undertaken.
My usual charge is £50 per session for individuals and £60 for couples. The fee for an initial consultation is £25 for individuals and £30 for couples. If you feel that these fees prevent you from committing to ongoing work, please do discuss it with me as I try to offer some flexibility.
I work Tuesdays to Fridays. My earliest slot is usually 8.30am and my latest slot is usually 6.45pm. These hours may vary from time to time.
I normally work from an office at 26 Forth Street, Edinburgh, EH1 3LH (download map and details). But due to coronavirus, for the time being I am working either through Zoom / FaceTime or over the phone.
Forth Street is near the centre of Edinburgh a few minutes walk from Waverley Station and very close to bus stops on Elm Row and York Place. For drivers, there is Pay & Display parking on Forth Street and other nearby streets.
