These and other difficulties are common. Often you can move forward with the help of friends and family. But sometimes it can be easier and more effective to seek the help of a counsellor or psychotherapist.
I provide a warm and friendly space where you can talk about and make sense of what is going on in your life. And I will actively explore with you ways of making changes in your life that will help you feel better and be more fulfilled.
I work with both couples and individuals.
I am trained to Diploma level in Transactional Analysis and also have training in Narrative Therapy. I have been working as a counsellor since 2005.
Short and long-term counselling / therapy undertaken.
Fees
My usual charge is £55 per session for individuals and £65 for couples. The fee for an initial consultation is £25 for individuals and £30 for couples. If you feel that these fees prevent you from committing to ongoing work, please do discuss it with me as I try to offer some flexibility.
Times
I work Tuesdays to Fridays. My earliest slot is usually 8.30am and my latest slot is usually 5.30pm. These hours may vary from time to time.
Location
I normally work in central Edinburgh, about ten minutes from Waverley Station. I also work through Zoom / FaceTime.
